"Think of it as calling your most design-savvy friend — except she actually knows what she's talking about."
THE PROCESS
1. Booking the call
Client visits your website. Sees the two options. Clicks the time that works. Pays immediately via Stripe. Receives automatic confirmation with a prep checklist.
Tool: Calendly + Stripe. Zero manual work.
2. Pre-Call Prep
Immediately after booking, client receives an automated email with:
A short Typeform asking 8 focused questions
Instructions to prepare: photos of every room, floor plan if available, a Pinterest or Instagram board of spaces they love, list of their 3 most burning questions
The Zoom or FaceTime link for the call
You review their answers 15 minutes before the call. That's your entire prep time.
3. The Call
60 or 90 minutes, live video.
You look at their space in real time. You ask, you challenge, you advise. You give specific, actionable recommendations — actual supplier names, actual colour references, actual layout decisions. Not vague inspiration. Real answers.
The rule: Every client should leave the call able to take at least one concrete action the same day. That is the quality standard.
At the end of every call, you ask one question: "Is there anything bigger going on with this home that we didn't get to today?" This is your natural, pressure-free bridge to the Turnkey conversation or to book another call
4. The Follow-up notes
Within 24 hours, you send a short written summary: the 3–5 key recommendations from the call, specific product links or supplier names mentioned, and one or two additional thoughts that came to you after the call.
Tool: A simple email template, personalised for each client. Takes 15 minutes. Feels like a gift.
"This follow-up note is the single highest-return 15 minutes in your business. It is what people screenshot and send to friends. It is what generates the referral."
